Carey Arensberg is a 4th grade teacher in Alabama. She has a master's degree in Educational Leadership with a minor in trauma and resilience in education. She has worked with at-risk youth for 12 years, which led to her passion for the implementation of trauma-informed teaching practices in her daily classroom routine. She is a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner and Coach (CTRP-e, CTRC-e), which helps her implement best practices to share with students and adults who want to begin bringing those practices into their own classrooms. Mrs. Arensberg understands the profound impact of trauma on learning and development and uses her expertise to foster resilience, empathy, and growth for her students.
