Participants Will:

  • Learn how to set up a Canva Classroom and register for the Canva Education Dashboard.
  • Explore pedagogical foundations such as Depth of Knowledge, Universal Design Framework, Backwards Design. 
  • Explore over 10 ways to app smash with Canva and be given examples.
  • Complete learning tasks demonstrating understanding of Canva features and functions.
  • Experience the platform from a student perspective.
  • Create a classroom, school, or district brand kit.
  • Design an interactive lesson using Canva and it's integrated functions.
  • Learn how to organize folders, follow creators, and save elements.
  • Explore multiple ways to provide feedback and assessment using Canva.
  • Learn how to use Canva to engage socially and build and global PLN.
  • Interact with other Canva Educators in the Facebook Group.
