Dr. Brian Dinkins is a rising professional development trainer, keynote, and motivational speaker for the Center for Empowering Education where he serves as CEO. Brian teaches future principals in the educational leadership program at Marian & Butler University in Indianapolis, IN.  Dr. Dinkins has served as turnaround principal in four high poverty schools, including traditional, charter, and private schools, and has committed his work to advance educational equity for children and families in need.

Brian Dinkins

Dr. Brian Dinkins is a rising professional development trainer, keynote, and motivational speaker for the Center for Empowering Education where he serves as CEO. Brian also serves as assistant professor at Butler University, were he serves as director of the Experiential Program for Preparing School Principals (EPPSP). Raised by a single mother in the inner city of Indianapolis, he achieved poorly graduating with a 1.9gpa but with support of public school teachers, coaches, and mentors, earned a B.A. from Purdue University where he played football for the Big Ten Boilermakers. He went on to complete two master’s degrees, Ed.S, and doctorate in educational leadership from Ball State University. Dr. Dinkins has served as turnaround principal in four high poverty schools, including traditional, charter, and private schools and has committed his work to serving children and families in need.

Erica Terry, Host

Erica Terry is a 20-year educator and co-author of the Eva the Diva Girl rhyming picture book series written with her daughter, to empower young girls to build confidence and grow in self-love. She is also the founder of Healthy Wealthy Educators, where she equips teachers with actionable tools and resources to start a profitable online business and build generational wealth without stress.
